Founder/organisation obsessed.
I was born and raised in Holland, where I lived a happy childhood in a big beautiful house with my mum and dad. At the age of ten, I realised that my wonderful parents were total hoarders, incapable of throwing things out. Instead, the house, garage, and giant shed were a total mess, filled to the brim with stuff we never used (sorry mum).
From a very young age, I was the opposite. I realised the space that things take up is more valuable than keeping things we never use. I love being in beautiful spaces that feel calm and well thought out. As a hobby, I started helping friends and family transforming their spaces. I love helping people and seeing how happy the end result makes them.
At the age of 25, I moved to Sydney where I spent 10 years working in the high-end events industry creating glamorous and functional event spaces for my clients.
When I moved to Auckland in 2018 it was the perfect opportunity to start Organise My Life and do what I have always done. Combine my passion for transforming spaces and my event and organisation skills to help other people.
My aim is to empower you with the basic yet valuable concepts, skills and systems needed to reclaim and maintain a clear, clutter-free life and mind, be it for your home or your next event
